About Adult and Teen Challenge
Adult & Teen Challenge Greater Midwest’s (ATCGM) Chicago Men’s Induction Center in Chicago, Illinois, is roughly 8 miles west of downtown in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. The center provides a starting point for men in recovery from a range of substance use disorders (SUD).
Whether a client is facing alcohol or opioid use issues, they’ll find hope and healing in a structured residential treatment environment.
Building the Foundation for Recovery
While the full program requires a 12 month commitment, clients stay at the induction facility for three months. After three months of building a solid foundation, clients move into the ACGTM residential facility in Pekin, Illinois, where they complete their addiction treatment program.

One unique factor is the commitment to helping men heal in a Christ centered environment. Staff is on site 24/7 to provide guidance and you’ll participate not only in group counseling but also attend chapel and devotional gatherings.

Structured routines and dorm style living help create a sense of order when life has felt chaotic. Work assignments and a consistent daily schedule help you build responsibility and accountability.
