About Southeast Florida Women’s Rehab
Southeast Florida Women’s Rehab was a faith-based residential treatment center located in Davie, Florida. They offered long-term care exclusively for adult women dealing with drug and alcohol addiction. The facility is now closed.
Faith-Centered Addiction Recovery Program
The core specialty here was long-term residential addiction treatment for women, through a one-year commitment structured in four progressive phases. The phases were Recovery, Renewal,
Restoration & Healing, and Transition
Each phase lasted several weeks and built on the last to foster increasing independence, skills and community integration.
Treatment within the program included daily spiritual practices such as prayer and Bible study, paired with individual counseling, group therapy, work therapy and relapse prevention.
Life Skills & Trauma Healing Focus
Beyond substance use, Southeast Florida Women’s Rehab placed a strong emphasis on healing emotional trauma and life-controlling issues. Sessions often included spiritual mentoring and focused therapy aimed at uncovering and resolving the roots of addiction.
For many clients this meant confronting painful experiences, shame or broken relationships. Work assignments on-campus served a dual purpose of building vocational skills and promoting responsibility, community and structure.
