About Renaissance Ranch
Renaissance Ranch in Bluffdale, Utah, is family owned and operated. Their overall basis for treatment is to grow spiritually and recognize the need to submit to a higher power (the higher power being at the client’s discretion).
The center is accredited by CARF and is NAATP approved. Most major insurances are accepted. For cash pay clients a private financing program is available for drawing up a payment plan.
Men’s Residential Alcohol and Drug Treatment
Residential alcohol and drug treatment is offered for men at the Bluffdale location. Veterans receive personalized treatments related to PTSD and military experiences. An assessment will determine if the client needs to enter the medically assisted detox program.
The program lasts two to 14 days and provides health monitoring during the process. The center treats clients for the use of alcohol, opiates, cocaine, heroin, marijuana, meth, morphine, mushrooms, hallucinogens, prescription drugs and benzodiazepine.
Residential treatment includes the12 Step program, cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing trauma therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and motivational interviewing. They treat both substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Amenities and Activities
The residency is in a 9,000 square foot estate house with a courtyard, a vegetable garden, and a horse barn with a meeting loft. Recreational therapy includes a gym, a sauna, a pickleball court, a basketball court, a fire pit, a putting green, horseshoe pits and meditation grounds.
Recreational activities are enjoyed in the Wasatch Mountains. Experiential therapy involves ropes courses, hiking and service work. Physical rehabilitation can involve cross fit, weightlifting and yoga.
Family Program
The Family Program changes family perceptions of addiction and improves family relationships. Families are involved weekly with onsite family groups and family visits. Also offered are weekly online family groups, family workshops and family counseling.
Alumni Support
The Band of Brothers Alumni Program provides aftercare when treatment has been completed. Alumni hold each other accountable, connect with newer members to offer encouragement, attend weekly meetings, quarterly retreat and annual events. Periodic activities include extracurricular outings such as camping, marathons, sporting events, and study groups. An alumni app provides care and recovery resources.
