About Operation PAR
Operation PAR in Pinellas Park, Florida, is recognized by the Central Florida Behavioral Healthcare Network as a five star service organization. You can receive services here in person or through telehealth options. The center is state licensed, accredited by CARF and accepts Medicaid insurance.
Outpatient Substance Use Treatment
The center provides outpatient treatment and referrals for other types of treatment. Adults and adolescents who are suffering from substance use disorders and/or mental health disorders can receive services that are offered for their co-occurring conditions.
A physical exam and lab work will help identify substances used and any physical damage they have caused. Psychosocial assessments and psychiatric evaluations will determine if outpatient treatment will work for you or if you should be referred for more intensive forms of treatment.
Family counseling is available for families who have broken relationships due to substance use or the families of adolescents in treatment. Group therapy educates clients on topics such as life management skills and HIV and Hepatitis risk.
Referrals for Inpatient Detoxification
Inpatient detoxification lasts between three to six days and is offered at the Clearwater Campus. During detox you will be administered a physical health screening, a psychosocial assessment and medication assisted treatment if needed. You will also participate in individual and group therapy as you are able to.
Referral for Residential Treatment
Residential treatment is available to adults in Largo and adolescents in St. Petersburg. Adolescents receive Pinellas County High School and Vocational education at the treatment center.
Residential treatment groups are gender specific and treat clients using behavioral intervention and anger management therapy. Through their recreation and creative arts therapy clients can express themselves in different ways and form bonds with their peers in a way that would not occur in a therapy room.
Referral for Medication Assisted Treatment
Operation PAR has a number of medication assisted treatment (MAT) centers you could be referred to. Medications prescribed for opiate use disorder include methadone, buprenorphine and Vivitrol.
