About Nova Recovery Center Austin Intensive Outpatient
Nova Recovery Centers has an intensive outpatient center and a sober living home at the same address in Austin, Texas. They assist adults and have a special track for LGBTQ individuals. Although the home does not offer substance use treatment, it offers a sober living environment for those who have completed treatment. Programs are available to support you on your recovery road and ensure long lasting sobriety.
Unlike a treatment facility, the home is a community setting where you will pay rent, do your own meal preparation, and complete chores in the home. There are rules you must follow such as staying sober and not using substances.
Achieving Goals with Peers
Structured living with accountability and staff who support you will prepare you for sobriety after you reenter the community. Your sober coach will help and support you as you work toward your goals. Even if you’re attending intensive outpatient programs, you can join residents in fellowship.
Peers who are also in recovery will work with you to find employment, education, or training. Educational workshops and counseling can take place up to three times each week.
We have better success rates at lasting sobriety if we are able to stay in a sober environment while getting our life back on track. The home helps residents work toward independence and self-sufficiency as will be needed when leaving the home. You can work on your recovery and work on rebuilding your life in an environment that is free from substances and distractions.
Amenities at Nova Recovery Center
The home is located on a bus route if you need transportation to work or school. The home is fully furnished with washers and dryers, a fully equipped kitchen, televisions, cable, and Wi-Fi. Rooms are shared by residents. There are also a gym, pool tables, and fireplace.
In addition to recovery, you'll enjoy fun activities with your housemates such as movie nights, potlucks, competitive sports, and pizza nights. Recovery speakers will boost your morale and determination while alumni events will introduce you to those who have successfully completed the program you are participating in.
