New Hope Community Service Center is an addiction treatment and mental health provider in Chicago, Illinois that serves the South Side community for over 30 years. The program accepts Medicare, Medicaid, private health insurance, state and federal funding, and cash or self-payment.
Sliding scale payment options are available and Telehealth therapy and psychiatric consultations are offered for remote sessions.
Programs and MAT for Opioid and Alcohol Users
New Hope provides general outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and partial hospitalization programs for substance use and mental health concerns. Medication assisted treatment is available using medications such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, and disulfiram for opioid and alcohol dependency. MAT is combined with individual counseling, group therapy, and family therapy.
Eligible Clients and Additional Programs
The center serves adult men and women, adolescents ages 12 to 17, criminal justice and forensic clients, LGBTQ+ individuals, and justice involved youth. Specialized services include programming for DUI offenders, sex offenders requiring IDOC approved group therapy, and individuals with court mandated treatment requirements.
New Hope uses evidence based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness based therapy. Psychiatric evaluation and medication management are available for co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and ADHD.
