About MARS – Bethlehem
MARS Bethlehem in Fountain Hill, Pennsylvania, is an addiction treatment program of Mid-Atlantic Rehabilitation Services. The center accepts several commercial insurances, MCOs, and SCAs. A sliding scale rate is available for eligible clients. It’s not far from Martin Luther King, Jr., Park.
Walk in assessment hours are Monday and Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. After your assessment you’ll be referred for an intensive outpatient program (IOP) or a general outpatient program (OP). Telehealth sessions are available to those who qualify.
Outpatient Programs
IOP offers group therapy three times per week and individual therapy once per week. The program is available to adults and adolescents with group placement based on age. Specialized groups include IOP groups for adolescents, women, and Latinos.
OP offers the same treatment as IOP with fewer group and individual meetings. Special groups are there for OP healthcare professionals and those who need relapse prevention and pain management.
Those who abuse prescribed pain medication probably never intended for that to happen, but they often end up becoming addicted. A pain management treatment program/group can help you rely less on pain medications.
Hospital Opiate Support Team
If you find yourself in the hospital because of opiate use disorder, MARS’ hospital opiate support team (HOST) can refer you to treatment. If you need detoxification, residential treatment, or medication assisted treatment, you will be referred to a local facility.
Gambling Addiction Treatment
Clients who like to gamble to a point that they’ve created family, financial, legal, or emotional problems can get help. The center will work with you to help you understand your disorder, review your finances and how you are managing money, and educate you using self-exclusion options, models of intervention, harm reduction, and the legal system and gambling.
