The business motto is “changing our community one class at a time.” The clinic is locally owned and operated and provides some services for free.
Legally Required Programs and Services
Legally required classes that are offered include first offense drinking and driving, DUI classes, drug education and counseling, drug testing, traffic school, and anger management. The clinic staff is composed of an alcohol and drug counselor, clinical forensic counselor, and cognitive forensic therapist among others.
Outpatient Substance Use Treatment
Other services the clinic offers include AA support groups, 12 step methods education, family counseling, addiction counseling, and marriage counseling. Our loved ones who have substance use problems can cause friction and resentment in our homes. Family counseling and marriage counseling can help repair relationships and strengthen bonds.
If you are using the transit system there is a bus stop just a few feet from the clinic. The Rusty Pot Café is just across the street and offers a cup of joe and a place to rest while waiting for the bus.
After a class or session you may want to visit an area conducive to meditation and relaxation. Several beaches and parks are within three to five miles from the clinic. Kenneth Hahn State Recreational Park features 308 acres with a Japanese garden and scenic trails for a quiet and meditative walk.
