Tioga, Texas, is the birthplace of Gene Autry, the legendary singing cowboy popular in the 1930s and 1940s, but it’s also known as horse country. It’s an appropriate place, then, for Healing Springs Ranch, a luxury addiction treatment center for adult men and women. Clients are all working on recovery from a variety of substance use disorders, including opioids and alcohol.
Holistic Care to Focus on the Whole You
Treating only the addiction isn’t enough. There’s usually a deeper reason behind substance use, including stress or unresolved trauma. Holistic care goes below the surface to work on both the physical and emotional side of addiction.
Some days you’ll focus more on processing emotions, while other days you’ll learn more about nutrition or spend time on a creative activity. One client shared that the “program is amazing and that the different therapies they offer are beyond helpful."
More Than Just a Bed
The facility sits on 80 acres of lakefront property with walking trails and outdoor spaces where you can relax and process what’s going on with your recovery. Caldwell Lake is practically next door. Clients also enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and an indoor fitness center. Something unique you don’t find at many other treatment centers is the nine-hole par-three golf course.
Rooms are semi-private, and roommates have a shared bathroom. You’ll have a desk and plenty of drawer space to store personal items.
Most clients stay around 45 days, but there’s flexibility to stay longer. Another client shared that it’s “the best environment and curriculum to get well and stay well.” That kind of trust speaks to how supported people feel during their time in treatment.
