About Harmony Haus Sober Living
Hyde Park in Austin, Texas, is a quiet, suburban neighborhood where you’ll find wonderful restaurants and coffee shops surrounded by modest residences and Victorian style buildings. In this neighborhood, Harmony Haus operates one of their sober living houses for adult men looking for a safe place to live and reintegrate into society after drug or alcohol addiction treatment.
Offering Far More Than Security
Part of their admissions process involves selecting one of two recovery programs to follow during your stay at the residence. The first is the renewal program, which is specifically designed to help after a relapse. This program emphasizes accountability and takes you through a social detox phase, structured outpatient therapy with a nearby professional, and case management services to take care of your peripheral medical and social needs.
Their second program is a phased program that’s structured to gently allow you an increasing amount of freedom while simultaneously increasing your responsibilities. In this program, they offer regular individual and group counseling sessions, house meetings, and provide you with many opportunities for skills development.
Making Safety Enjoyable
One of the residence’s many highlights is that it has all the amenities you need to live comfortably and more. There are two kitchens on site, each resident gets their own fridge, and there are ample spaces to relax between house meetings, counseling sessions, chores, and work shifts.
