About Entre Familia
Entre Familia is a residential addiction treatment center in Mattapan, Massachusetts, offering long-term substance use treatment designed specifically for pregnant and postpartum women and women with children under age 17.
The program provides six to 12 months of residential care with bilingual and bicultural support, case management, and comprehensive counseling services. Mothers are able to keep their children with them during treatment.
The program does not accept direct payment and is funded through federal and state substance abuse funding including SAMHSA. Medicaid, Medicare, sliding fee scale, and payment assistance are available for those who qualify.
Medication Assisted Treatment and Therapies
Entre Familia provides long term residential treatment for substance use disorders lasting six to 12 months. Services include individual, group, family, and couples counseling, substance abuse assessment, medication assisted treatment with buprenorphine and naltrexone.
Evidence based therapies used include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma related counseling.
Addiction Treatment for Special Groups
The program serves pregnant and postpartum women and women with children under age 17 with a strong focus on Latina women and families.
Entre Familia also supports adults and young adults with co-occurring mental health disorders, persons with HIV or AIDS, LGBTQ clients, survivors of trauma or domestic violence, and criminal justice involved individuals. Services are available in both Spanish and English and the program now includes support for fathers, partners, and other family members.
