At this location, the East Orange Substance Abuse Treatment Program (EODAP) provides outpatient treatments and services aimed at helping members of the community break free from the use of drugs and the lifestyles that often go with it.
They’re part of the county’s public health services, which means that they keep their services affordable and work with clients covered by Medicaid. It’s accredited by CARF.
Affordable Outpatient Rehab
At EODAP, their treatment programs are structured to meet the criteria of the intensive outpatient level of care. This involves several hours per week of individual therapy, counseling and may also include group sessions.
What’s great about their setup is that it allows your therapist to tailor the treatments you receive while being flexible enough for you to tend to other responsibilities you may have. If needed, they can also include medication assisted treatment as a part of the program for those who need it.
Intent on Changing Lives
Encouraging their patients is a core part of East Orange’s organizational values. One past client provides an example of just how they do it in her personal experience. She reported that they didn’t only help her get free from addiction, but their advice and support aided in reconciling with her husband and stepping away from other illegal activities as well.
