About Day At A Time Club
Day At A Time Club is a nonprofit community recovery club in Lakewood, Colorado that hosts over 60 12-step meetings weekly for individuals seeking peer support in addiction recovery. Meetings are free as the club operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supported by donations.
Meetings for a Diversity of Addictions
Founded in 1987, the club provides a safe, judgment free meeting space for multiple fellowships including Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Cocaine Anonymous, Crystal Meth Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, and others. Seven days a week Day At A Time Club welcomes anyone at any stage of recovery and emphasizes fellowship, honesty, and mutual support.
Recovery Support and Lasting Friendships
Day At A Time Club is not a clinical treatment center or therapy provider, but rather a community meeting space where individuals gather for 12-step peer support. The club hosts meetings in various formats including open meetings, closed meetings, hybrid meetings with Zoom options, and gender specific groups for men and women.
Meeting types include newcomer focused sessions, book studies, step studies, and traditions discussions. Attendees can connect with sponsors, work through the 12 steps, and build lasting recovery relationships where no registration or obligation to speak is required.
