About Recovery Monitoring Solutions (RMS)
Coastal Bend Outpatient Services is now called Recovery Monitoring Services and is located on Loredo Street in Corpus Christi, Texas. They provide monitoring services and behavioral health services to address and treat adults under court orders or have severe co-occurring mental health issues and substance use disorders.
They’re accessible to I-37, Route 181 and Highway 286 for easy access to transportation, to and from the facility.
The center is also close to several restaurants, stores and hotels and is close to many cultural landmarks, including the Texas State Aquarium, Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History and the Selena Museum. You can also access many natural landmarks including North Beach and McGee Beach, Corpus Christi Bay, Sunset Lake Park and Cole Park.
Monitoring & Testing in Conjunction with Court Programs
RMS is mostly known for their monitoring services that they provide to the courts and various judicial agencies to effectively monitor clients for alcohol use and location pinpointing for those under house arrest or house curfews.
I find it good to know that they also offer drug testing solutions working with the criminal justice system and agencies to support sobriety for reentry clients through urinalysis, hair and oral fluid testing and a 24/7 transdermal drug patch.
Telehealth and In-Person Behavioral Health Outpatient Care
In addition, RMS works with the judicial system to provide treatment programs for past offenders or those facing current issues or charges. They provide in-person therapy and SUD treatment as well as telehealth treatment services for clients who qualify.
I like that RMS also offers educational solutions and programs to help past, repeat and first-time offenders avoid future incarceration by educating them on the dangers and consequences of DUI/DWI. The team is licensed by the Texas Department of Health Services and includes counselors and programs.
