About Clean and Sober Transitional Living
Fair Oaks, California, is a community in western Sacramento that’s known for beautiful, tree lined streets, quaint historical buildings, and amazing outdoor spaces. In this vibrant community, you’ll find Clean & Sober Transitional Living’s (CSTL’s) sober living homes, where you can live in safety and engage in their unique recovery program.
Establishing You In A Recovery Community
CSTL offers a unique, two phase transitional living program. In the first phase, they welcome you into one of six recovery houses on their campus, where you’ll share a room with one or two peers.
In each house, they have a ‘senior resident’ who provides support, encouragement, and guidance while also enforcing the community’s rules. Each resident is also required to continue participating in their 12 step meetings and programs while living in the community.
Strong Sense of Community
This type of environment creates a strong sense of safety and a community where peers encourage each other as they journey side by side and achieve recovery milestones. They also provide free weights, exercise machines, a pool table, gaming equipment, and host regular barbecues and roasts, which make bonding with peers all the more enjoyable.
Helping Residents Move Toward Independence
Their second phase is less restrictive in terms of curfews and living requirements. The increased freedom is meant to give you the time needed to return to work or school.
