Access urgent care, with emergency mental health services provided here 24/7. This includes support for cases of overdose and crisis stabilization.
The facility also features an inpatient mental health unit (6B), where you can access immediate mental health treatment, as well as support for concurrent substance abuse issues. Services provided include medication management, individual and group therapy sessions as well as case management.
Services are also available in Spanish, and in sign language for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, allowing for more accessible care. Designated smoking areas also feature throughout the site.
Outpatient Social Support & Addiction Treatment
Comprehensive outpatient addiction treatment and mental health services are also provided here and delivered by a skilled multidisciplinary team of nurses, peer support specialists, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists.
Specialized programming is available to LGBTQ+ veterans, including mental health services, vocal coaching, and hormone therapy.
As part of a rounded and holistic approach to care, the center also hosts a MOVE! weight management program to allow individuals to invest time and care into their physical wellbeing through support groups, behavioral change strategies and healthy eating tips. It’s neat that they’re close to Van Cortlandt Park and Wave Hill so you can get started on those steps.
