About Broken Chains Recovery Center
In the northeastern corner of Corpus Christi, Texas, you’ll find the Broken Chains Recovery Center (BCRC). They’re a Christian charitable organization that provides those in recovery from drug and alcohol addictions with a safe, sober living environment and a chance to build new lives and relationships.
Help for Those at Their Lowest Point
It’s not unusual for a person in recovery to have very few resources at their disposal, which is why the BCRC has a sponsorship program. In this program, the sponsored person gets to live in the sober living home and attend classes for a month at no cost.
A Sober Living Family
Another one of their program’s great features is that they place considerable emphasis on making each person in their community feel like part of the family. Everyone attends church together, they have regular group counseling sessions, and often host meetings and events that are open to members of the public and Corpus Christi’s broader recovery community.
Offering Opportunities to Develop in Every Aspect
Apart from their recovery support programs, they offer a wide variety of educational and training programs to help uplift those in their care. These include developing literacy skills, GED test preparation, finance and budgeting classes, job development and apprenticeship programs, and anger management classes.
