About ACTS Drew Park and Amethyst Respite Center
The ACTS Amethyst Respite Center’s Inebriate Shelter is in Tampa, Florida. It’s a short-term service for adults under the influence of substances who’re at risk of being imprisoned or transitioning to treatment. It’s a diversion program from detox and crisis stabilization programs, hospital emergency rooms and correctional facilities. They don’t accept self-referrals. Residents have access to food, a safe sleeping place, basic hygiene facilities and a case manager.
