We tend to be more receptive when we are in an environment that is comfortable and relaxing. The home looks like a small castle with beautifully curved banisters from upper floors where clients can enjoy nature surrounding the house.
Golden lights illuminate the windows and doors after dark giving the house a cozy and inviting aura. A communal fireplace gives residents the opportunity to relax and reflect.
Residential Substance Use Treatment in Porter
Residential treatment has a duration of approximately 30 days or more depending on your needs. While receiving treatment you will learn how to live a sober life and develop tools to support your recovery. The facility features a kitchen and dining area, a living room and outdoor space.
Outpatient Care For Long Term Sobriety
When you’ve completed residential treatment, you can continue your recovery through outpatient care. Partial hospitalization programs meet five days per week for eight hours each day from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. These programs mimic residential programs except that clients return home each evening.
Intensive outpatient programs meet three days per week for three hours per day from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. For those who cannot participate during these hours, the executive director will consider a special session request. These programs give clients the ability to receive intensive treatment while transitioning back into home life and work or seeking employment.
Therapies used for treatment include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and the 12 step methods. The center offers public onsite and online AA meetings.
