About Wesley Family Services Wilkinsburg
Wesley Family Services Wilkinsburg (WFS), located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, provides services for individuals of all ages. With a history of serving more than 20,000 people, their outpatient support focuses on helping you overcome substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Former clients have testified to the kindness and compassion of their care teams and the ease of scheduling appointments. What strikes me most about WFS is their wellness center that’s designed to support your mental health and, when needed, addiction recovery.
Sliding Fee Scales to Access Care
The center accepts various forms of insurance. They take Medicaid and multiple commercial insurance plans. A sliding fee scale may be offered to you depending on your financial circumstances. All of your coverage details will be communicated to you during your intake process.
Highlights of Western Pennsylvania
WFS is located near the Wilkinsburg Train Station, which is a popular landmark. If you enjoy being outside, you won’t be far from Westinghouse Park and Ferguson Park, two beautiful places that are ideal for walking, picnicking, or just sitting and reflecting on your healing progress. You’ll also be near local libraries for some peaceful reading if you desire.
Wellness Center in the Heart of Wilkinsburg
Due to their partnerships with the Westmoreland County Department of Human Services and Westmoreland County Commissioners, WFS’s Wellness Center is designed to meet your practical needs so that you can focus completely on yourself, your mental health, and your substance use. Situated at their Pioneer and New Kensington locations, the goal of this program is to improve your quality of life.
Adult Diversion and Stabilization (DAS)
WFS offers a 24-hour residential service that includes psychiatric interventions, counseling services, and medication monitoring if necessary. This is a home-like setting to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible. The goal of this is to prevent you from having to be hospitalized so that you can move forward and be happy and independent. From there, you can continue to care for yourself by partaking in care on an outpatient basis.
