Outpatient Programs for Addiction
Intensive Outpatient Programs consist of three hour individual or group sessions. You will sign a personal contract with your therapist agreeing to goals, expectations and consequences for not adhering to the contract. It’s a great way to help keep you committed to your treatment throughout the recovery process.
Day Treatment is also available where you’ll participate in six to ten hour daily sessions. Treatment consists of individual sessions, group sessions and a personal contract. Adults and adolescents will attend separate groups.
Sometimes clients will complete an outpatient treatment program and then relapse. Twin Town Torrance is understanding of that, and provides the relapse track which features ten sessions of IOP for those who completed treatment previously at Twin Town.
Referrals for Detox and MAT
Some clients may need more intensive services before beginning outpatient treatment. If it is determined you need medical detoxification and/or medication assisted treatment, you will be referred to an external provider that coordinates services with Twin Town. There are several bus stops located in front and beside the clinic for those using transit for transportation.
The Redondo Beach Pier is less than three miles away and offers areas for meditation and relaxation. The clear water sometimes allows visitors to spot sea lions, seals, whales and dolphins.
