Treatment Centers XL in Lone Tree, Colorado, is now closed. They offered substance use treatment and legally required programs. Some programs were paid for by state and federal funds, including the Access to Recovery voucher.
CARF Accredited Medication Assisted Treatment
The center was accredited by CARF and was licensed by the state of Colorado to provide treatment and programs. Transportation was available to and from sessions for clients who needed it.
The center offered medication assisted treatment with naltrexone, acamprosate, and medications for mental health issues. Clients were treated for substance use disorders and any co-occurring mental health disorders.
Treatment and Services
The matrix model and 12 step methods were used as well as therapies including CBT, DBT, rational emotive behavior therapy, motivational incentives and motivational interviewing. Clients were taught techniques for preventing relapses.
Outpatient services included outpatient detox, intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization programs, and case management. Case managers were able to connect clients to community assistance programs and assist them in finding community support groups for those with substance use disorders.
Peer support services provided clients with a support system outside of treatment with peers in recovery. Aftercare was provided to encourage clients in their recovery journey.
