About The Healing Place Womens Campus
The Healing Place Women's Campus is a nonprofit recovery organization in Louisville, Kentucky offering detox, residential treatment, outpatient programming, sober housing and overnight shelter services exclusively for women.
The campus provides a continuum of care rooted in 12 step principles, individual counseling, peer support and comprehensive case management.
With a low barrier, no cost model, The Healing Place removes financial and logistical obstacles so that women seeking sobriety can access the help they need.
Residential and Outpatient Recovery for Women
The Women's Campus delivers a full spectrum of care, beginning with residential detoxification and transitioning into long term residential programming.
Women receive individual counseling, attend 12 step meetings on campus and work with staff to build a foundation for sustained recovery in a women only environment.
Outpatient services through the Recovery Louisville model offer intensive group therapy, peer support and case management for women stepping down from residential care or entering treatment directly from the community.
Sessions emphasize skill building, accountability and addressing the root causes of substance use with structured schedules that support progress while allowing participants to rebuild their lives outside the program.
Case Management and Peer Driven Support
Beyond clinical treatment, The Healing Place provides wraparound case management to help women navigate employment, housing, medical care, and legal challenges. Graduates of the program can become Peer Mentors, offering guidance and accountability to newer participants and reinforcing a culture of shared recovery and mutual support.
