About The Healing Place Mens Campus
The Healing Place Men's Campus is a nonprofit recovery organization providing addiction treatment services exclusively for men in Louisville, Kentucky.
The campus offers non-medical detox, a six month residential recovery program, transitional living, outpatient services, a veterans program and overnight shelter.
Built on a peer driven social model and 12 step principles, The Healing Place removes barriers to recovery by providing all services at no cost to clients who have a desire to get sober.
Peer Driven Social Model Recovery for Men
The Men's Campus centers its approach on community support, peer mentorship and alumni involvement rather than a traditional clinical or medical model.
Grounded in 12 step principles, the program fosters accountability and belonging through frequent on campus AA and NA meetings and guidance from peers who have walked the same path.
In the social model environment, men work together to build recovery skills, share experiences and practice the tools needed for lasting sobriety.
Counseling and case management support address underlying issues alongside employment, housing, legal and medical needs, while the peer community reinforces progress every step of the way.
A Long Term Continuum of Care
The Healing Place offers a structured, multistage pathway that starts with three to ten days of non medical detox and progresses into a six month residential program.
After completing residential treatment, men can transition into approximately three months of continuing care and transitional living support to strengthen independence and prevent relapse.
