Recovery in the Lighthouse Program
If you are in need of structured sober housing, you can join their Lighthouse Program. Here you will receive mentorship by peers and develop spiritual values. You will continue in your recovery through daily 12 Step meetings and the Lighthouse Program which will educate you about the disease of addiction you are fighting and best methods for recovery success.
Phase One of Lighthouse Recovery
You will receive the typical 90 day clinical substance use treatment. Treatment consists of working all of the 12 Steps. This includes the fourth and fifth step which will allow you to concentrate on past traumas, misconceptions, fears and resentments.
You will participate in a trauma processing group which will help you discover why you have an addiction. You will not have any outside contact during these 90 days.
Phase Two: Beginning a New Life
After 90 days you will need to apply for the second phase if you wish to continue. This phase will house you in a studio style sober apartment. You will have more freedom and be required to budget your time and finances.
In phase two you will pursue educational or vocational goals. You can apply for college, trade schools, certificate programs, internships or employment. Some residents qualify for scholarships, grants or tuition assistance.
Therapies focus on cognitive, behavioral, moral, spiritual, social, financial and familial factors. Every resident is working toward family reunification and reintegration, educational and vocational opportunities, financial literacy and workforce development.
