About Advocate Program Central Office
The Advocate Program Central Office is a private not for profit justice agency in Miami, Florida. Since 1978, they’ve provided comprehensive care for adults experiencing addiction, mental health illnesses, and other challenges. You can access standard outpatient services in English or Spanish including specialized programs to meet your recovery goals.
Payment Options and Sliding Scale Fee
One great feature I noticed was their affordable care options. They accept state funded insurance as well as self pay with cash or major credit cards.
Court Ordered Services
What stands out most to me is their court ordered services. You can access pretrial diversion programs for felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic offenses. Diversion tracks can provide an alternative to incarceration. They also offer supervision for individuals on probation for traffic or criminal charges.
Veteran Housing Services
Another great feature I noticed was their housing services for Veterans. They’re dedicated to
ending Veteran homelessness. Along with transitional or permanent housing, you can access wraparound services to improve other essential recovery aspects. Legal services, case management, housing counseling, temporary financial assistance, employment services, and more are available.
DUI School
Their DUI school also caught my eye. These tracks offer evaluations, education, and treatment for level one and two DUI offenses. You can participate in a 12 hour educational program or a 21 hour course for multiple offenses. You’ll benefit from addiction education, understanding the dangers of driving under the influence, and learning the next steps to improve your situation.
