About Three Rivers Youth
Three Rivers Youth provides specialized behavioral health programs and addiction treatment for young people ages 12 to 21 and their families. This Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, outpatient center focuses on serving youth involved in juvenile justice systems or child welfare. They also prioritize those at risk of homelessness. They provide care through public funding, as well as partnerships with community agencies and the local government.
A Social Reentry Program Near the Carnegie Library
What strikes me most about them is their reentry programs. Your child can participate in stabilization services and ongoing support. They connect your teen to resources to help them transition into independent living. Youth can also participate in diversion services and other case management interventions regardless of where they are in their recovery.
I also like that Three Rivers Youth has a resource center. They provide non clinical support to your child, including recovery support groups and skills workshops. Your child can also access resources that promote harm reduction, such as drug testing kits and Narcan.
Reports of Positive Change
Lots of testimonies report positive changes after participating in Three Rivers Youth’s programs. Some mentioned increases in confidence and independence. I appreciated seeing reviews like these because they highlight the center’s commitment to sincerely helping youth.
