About Ed Thompson Veterans Program
The Ed Thompson Veterans Program in New York City is an initiative that provides male New York veterans aged 18+ with a range of support and solutions for substance use disorder, homelessness, and other life challenges. Support is available regardless of sexuality or ethnicity. Their 50-bed veterans facility in Richmond Hill, Queens provides individual and group relapse prevention counseling, alongside trauma-focused therapies, family intervention, primary and mental health care, as well as vocational, employment, and housing services. Aftercare is also available.
