About Rocky Mountain Sober Living
Rocky Mountain Sober Living is a recovery focused organization offering sober living facilities for individuals dealing with addictions. The facilities give individuals a safe and substance free living environment in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Rocky Mountain has six men’s homes and one women’s home throughout Colorado Springs. The programs are nonclinical, but they may support clients on medication assisted treatment (MAT) under some circumstances through outpatient arrangements.
Payment options vary, but most clients are self pay. They accept some vouchers from the 4th District Probation and Parole board. They also offer some financial assistance and scholarships for the first month for individuals who need help getting the program fees together.
Strong Accountability
The homes offer highly structured programs and strong accountability. I noticed that individuals are required to have a clean urinalysis on entry into the homes. They have a 256 panel drug screening twice per week and breathalyzer monitoring.
Residents are required to be looking for work or already have jobs. P{lease note that meals are not provided, and residents have to purchase and prepare their own food.
LGBTQIA2S+ Inclusion
Many people will appreciate that they offer a special program for individuals in the LGBTQIA2S+ community. The house sizes vary and include up to 11 beds in a six-bedroom home. Smoking is allowed in designated areas and 12 Steps may be required.
