About Project COPE
Project COPEÂ in Lynn, Massachusetts, is a women's residential addiction treatment center. Operated by Bridgewell, this six-month program serves women with substance use disorders, including specialized tracks for pregnant and postpartum women who can enter treatment with their newborns. Project COPE uses a phased, structured approach combining counseling, case management, vocational planning, and community reintegration support to help women build lasting recovery.
Long Term Options
Women begin with an individualized treatment plan developed through assessment and case management. The six-month residential program provides a safe, structured environment where clients progress through phases designed to build skills, address trauma and prepare for independent living.
It gives clients the time to focus on healing without unhealthy distractions that often hinder treatment.
Care and Community
Programming includes individual and group counseling, alcohol and drug education, self-help meetings, parenting groups and recreational activities. Project COPE addresses co-occurring mental health needs through coordinated access to medical, mental health, and psychiatric services, and offers trauma-informed counseling for bereavement and other life challenges.
Women referred by the judicial system, hospitals or other treatment facilities as well as those seeking help on their own, are welcomed into the program.
