About Phoenix House Transitional Support Services
Phoenix House Transitional Support Services is a short term residential addiction treatment program in Springfield, Massachusetts that serves adult men who need stabilization after detox. They are the only all male transitional support program in Western Massachusetts and is CARF accredited.
Phoenix House accepts state funding, federal and government funding for substance abuse programs, self-pay, and Access to Recovery vouchers. Payment assistance is available for those who qualify.
Addiction Treatment Programs
Phoenix House provides a 30 day residential program that includes individual and group substance use counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and 12-step programming. The program helps men who are no longer in physical withdrawal maintain sobriety in a controlled environment and learn skills for sustained recovery.
Phoenix House treats individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders and often serves clients with prior treatment experience.
Daily Life in the Program
Clients follow a structured daily schedule that blends psycho-education groups, motivational enhancement therapy, expressive arts, stress reduction activities, and self help meetings. Medication evaluation and monitoring are available for co-occurring disorders and comprehensive treatment planning addresses family, vocational, mental health, and medical goals.
