About OhioGuidestone Toledo
OhioGuidestone is a community behavioral healthcare organization. They provide mental health and substance use disorder treatment services. The network has multiple facilities, including the ReadyCare walk-in clinic in Toledo, Ohio. The clinic provides medication assisted treatment (MAT) for eligible individuals. This clinic serves adults aged 18 and over only.
OhioGuidestone’s mission is to provide paths for achievement, growth, and lifelong success with a vision to be the leader in Ohio’s community behavioral health programs. The clinic accepts private insurance, self payment, Medicare, and Medicaid. The staff offers an income based sliding scale for uninsured individuals. The walk-in clinic is open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
An Area Conducive to Addiction Recovery
The clinic is situated only a few miles from the University Parks Trail. I think the multi-use trail system is perfect for reflective outdoor activities, walking, biking, and running. The area is also home to libraries, community programming, opportunities for sober activities, and 12 Step meetings.
Peer Support
I think people will like the peer recovery support services, as well as recovery support groups. You’ll connect with others who share your path of recovery. There’s also an expressive arts program where you’ll use art as an outlet to vent and process your feelings.
