About New Beginnings of Tampa
New Beginnings of Tampa is a large transitional housing and homeless Christ based recovery program for men, women and young adults over the age of 18 in Tampa, Florida.
Tampa is a rapidly growing area along the Gulf Coast known for its sunny climate and scenic waterfront area. It's Florida's third largest city and offers a mix of historic charm and modern downtown development that can be conducive to a healing environment.
Gender Specific Sober Living Housing for Adults
The gender specific housing program also offers job training programs to help stabilize your life and achieve independent living. It’s a sober living home, where they don’t provide traditional treatment but do require that you’re substance free while living there. A large percentage of their clients are U.S. veterans. They’ve counselors who can meet clients in recovery or have mental health conditions.
Referrals & Educational Help for Independent Living
The staff also provides referrals to other more appropriate agencies when you need additional treatment for substance use. In addition to their sober living and transitional housing program, emergency housing on a daily and weekly basis for up to 50 people who are experiencing homelessness is available.
New Beginning starts by determining your needs, including educational opportunities, GED preparation or job training. Their goal is to help you find a more permanent housing solution as you're moving forward. Veterans and past clients speak highly of the program's ability to help them get reestablished in society.
