About Naomi Transitional Housing
NAOMI (New Attitude on My Image) Transitional Housing is a nonprofit residential treatment provider in Toledo, Ohio certified by Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services and accredited by CARF. The organization exclusively serves adult women recovering from alcohol and substance abuse including those with co-occurring mental health disorders and trauma histories, domestic violence backgrounds and women recently released from prison.
NAOMI offers up to twelve months of holistic support through a three phase programming structure designed to help women heal physically, spiritually and emotionally while becoming self supporting members of their families and communities.
Residential Treatment for Women
NAOMI specializes in long term residential care that provides women with extended time and stability to address addiction and rebuild their lives. The program operates 24/7, housing five to ten women at a time with all basic needs met including meals and laundry, transportation assistance and clothing.
Treatment integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and motivational interviewing, trauma related counseling and twelve step facilitation. Women participate in counseling, case management and support groups while progressing through structured phases that prepare them for successful community reintegration.

Support for Complex Needs
NAOMI addresses the multiple challenges women face through wraparound services including domestic violence support, mental health screening and services, substance abuse assessment and housing assistance, social skills development and aftercare planning. The program welcomes clients on medication assisted treatment and provides specialized care for co-occurring disorders.
Getting Started
NAOMI serves women from its Warren Street location with services on a first come, first served basis. The organization is one of the only twenty four hour service providers in the area supporting women regardless of income.
NAOMI accepts Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance, state financed plans and offers sliding scale fees with income based pricing options.
