The facility also offers various options for therapy which include individual, group, family, art and even pet therapy sessions. These sessions are also available for non-residential patients through their partial hospitalization, outpatient and co-occurring disorder programs.
Recovery is only the first step in the journey to long-term sobriety, which is why MeadowWoods provides plenty of resources after treatment. Drug Take-Back Days
An interesting program offered at this facility is the Drug Take-Back Days which gathers the community twice a year to dispose of prescription drugs like Oxycontin or Vicodin that are expired or not being used. Since 2010 they have taken almost 60,000 pounds of drugs out of New Castle County, ensuring these medications do not get in the wrong hands.
