About Lourdes Desert Hope
Lourdes Desert Hope in Pasco, Washington, was part of the Lourdes Health System. This location is now permanently closed.
However, Lourdes has other facilities in the area where clients access treatment for mental health and substance use disorder.
Making Mental Health a Priority
Throughout the healthcare system, Lourdes has made mental health care a priority, understanding the relationship it has to good physical health. They provided a team of experienced and compassionate professionals to adults aged 18 and older.
Using a multidisciplinary team approach to treatments, they provided medical detox when you were withdrawing from alcohol or drugs, including supervision and symptom management.
Traditional and Intensive Outpatient Care
This location offered outpatient services including traditional therapy, intensive outpatient programming, education, relapse prevention programs and DUI deferment assessments. They worked closely with the local court system to help you through a diversion program if you were arrested for a DUI.
When outpatient services were not sufficient, staff members could refer clients to the Richmond behavioral unit, which could accommodate up to 58 inpatient adults.
Using a continuum of care throughout the Lourdes Health System allows you to receive treatment ranging from detox through aftercare services. Treatment at all facilities is evidence based and could include a combination of psychiatric evaluation and therapeutic support.
