Diverse Program Methods
The staff at Kirkbride Center understands that every person has a unique recovery journey. They offer numerous therapeutic methods catered to the individual’s needs and goals.
Guests have a primary therapist so they build a relationship and have guidance they trust throughout the program. In addition to traditional therapies, they offer alternative techniques, such as art therapy, music therapy and mindfulness practices. These methods may help reduce stress, increase confidence and promote relaxation.
Guests also attend support group meetings, like Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous, to learn more about accountability for past actions and future sobriety. Aftercare services are available to help guests have continued recovery care and may involve ongoing counseling sessions, sober events and support group meetings. The center is near local attractions, including Fairmont Park, which offers outdoor areas for recreation and relaxation, which may increase healing.
