About Inova CATS Program
Inova CATS Program is a comprehensive addiction treatment center in Falls Church, Virginia, offering a full continuum of care for adults struggling with substance use disorders. Located on the Inova Fairfax Hospital campus, the program provides inpatient medical detoxification, partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP) and medication assisted treatment for all forms of chemical dependency.

Addiction Treatment Programs at Inova CATS
Treatment often begins with inpatient medical detoxification, a stand alone unit where clients receive 24/7 medical monitoring, physician oversight and medication management during acute withdrawal, typically lasting three to seven days. From there, individuals can transition seamlessly into outpatient programs.
All programs include structured daily group therapy, individual counseling and family counseling to address both addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. Evidence based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and trauma related counseling support relapse prevention and long term recovery, with medication assisted treatment available for opioid use disorder.
What to Know About Inova CATS Program
They provide evidence based treatment using CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, 12 Step facilitation and trauma-informed care. They work with Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, private insurance, self-pay and offers sliding fee scale and financial assistance.
Additionally, they offer Spanish language services, naloxone education and multiple outpatient locations including telemedicine options.
