About Haven House Sober Living Long Beach
Haven House (HH) is a residence in Long Beach, California, where adult men and women can find a safe and comfortable place to stay as a part of their addiction recovery. The bungalow has adjoining apartments, giving it the feel of a village that’s dedicated to sobriety.
HH is also closely connected with the Los Angeles Sober Living Coalition, Long Beach’s Alano Club and the area’s AA, NA and DRA support networks, making it easy to plug into the area’s broader recovery community.
Providing Structure, Support and Safety
Although they don’t have a rigorous recovery program, they do ask that residents adhere to a set of rules that’s crafted to be flexible, yet firm enough to support your mental health recovery journey. They conduct random drug testing to keep each individual accountable and to keep the community safe for recovery.
Participation is Expected
Everyone is expected to participate in household chores and to continue attending weekly support group meetings (such as 12 step AA or NA programs). They also ask that each resident be involved in some form of employment or educational program to continue building their lives in a positive direction.
Comfortable Recovery By The Sea
The village has modern furnishings, WiFi, kitchens and beautiful outdoor spaces where you can relax during your off time. When staying here, you’ll also be only a short walk away from Junipero and Alamitos Beaches.
