About Greenbriar Treatment Center Squirrel Hill
Established in 1972, Gateway Rehab has joined forces with Greenbriar Treatment Center to bring clients impressive addiction treatment services in Western Pennsylvania. They had a facility located in Pittsburgh, just to be clear, and offered plenty of services to help heal addictive diseases through mind, body, and spirit. They are currently closed.
A Gateway to Levels of Care
If you sign up at another Gateway location, you’ll see that their levels of care are all at the outpatient level. Regular outpatient treatment is available, as well as an intensive outpatient program and a partial hospitalization program. This means you can get varying degrees of help for your condition despite where you are in your recovery journey. They also do withdrawal management, or medical detox, to help you sober up before you enter their program.
Their outpatient program can be done with the option of daytime sessions or nighttime sessions, and you'd be participating in both group therapy and individual therapy. Therapeutic approaches you'd be encountering include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), relapse prevention, 12 Step classes, and anger management courses. All these teach ways to cope with negative thought patterns and how to modify them, as well as learning strategies to effectively manage potential relapse triggers.
Remote Help
I also took note of some of Gateway’s specialized programs, because in reality, there are plenty of people who can't make it to the clinic to get help. For this reason, clinics like this offer options such as telemedicine and telehealth. This would give you a chance to receive remote sessions so that you can catch up regardless of whether you can make it to the clinic.
Your treatment center accepts different forms of payment, and I have verified that they accept Medicaid and private health insurance. Even though this location is closed, there are other sites in their network that can help you.
