About Edna House
Edna House is a nonprofit sober living residence in Cleveland, Ohio exclusively serving women in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction.
Founded in 2004, this structured, twelve step based program offers long term residential housing with no maximum length of stay, supporting women through three progressive phases from early recovery through community reintegration. With a compassionate, never quit philosophy, Edna House provides a safe environment where women build personal responsibility, self respect and lasting sobriety.
Recovery Programs for Women
Women begin in phase one, a three month communal living experience featuring six daily group sessions and nightly twelve step meetings to establish a strong recovery foundation. Phase two transitions residents to private bedrooms and includes job skills training, resume writing, interview preparation and employment assistance to support financial independence.
For those seeking extended support, phase three offers long term residential suites and continued alumni services as women transition to off site housing.
All programming is rooted in Alcoholics Anonymous principles, with group sessions facilitated by volunteers and alumnae. GED courses, life skills education and a close knit community of nearly three hundred alumnae members provide accountability, mentorship and peer support throughout every stage of recovery.
