About Ed Thompson Veterans Residential Program
Serving the Queens area of New York City, the Ed Thompson Veterans Residential Program is for male veterans with addiction issues. I think this is a valuable facility because they offer an inpatient program that treats substance abuse and PTSD, and any other mental health issues. I like that treatment is grounded in the sanctuary model. This model recognizes how trauma affects all areas of functioning, especially for veterans. If you enroll here you’ll experience five phases. Treatment will involve a range of group and individual therapy, educational lectures, and recovery activities.
