About Outreach Services of Circles of Care
Circles of Care is a network in Florida consisting of hospital, residential, outpatient, consultations, and education services. Since their beginning in a condemned school building with six employees in 1963, they’ve grown into a multi-location organization offering a continuum of care to community residents. They’ve an outreach center in Melbourne.
The center is certified by The Joint Commission. They accept Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE, and private insurance carriers. Financial assistance is based on family size and income. Federal, state and local grants may be available to further reach children in need.
Outreach Facility for Children
This Melbourne outreach facility treats the behavioral needs of children and their families in Brevard County through in-home and onsite visits. The center provides targeted case management for children and individual, group, and family counseling.
The center provides treatment services for children in the juvenile justice system, department of children and families, and homeless shelters.
Substance Use Crisis Stabilization
If needed, your child may be referred to the D’Albora Children’s Crisis Stabilization Unit in Melbourne. This inpatient program provides detoxification for substance use withdrawal management and stabilization services. The Baker and Marchman Acts allow involuntary treatment for these clients.
Outpatient Treatment for Children
Your child may be referred to the south area outpatient clinic in Melbourne. Psychiatric and psychological evaluations, medication management, and outpatient counseling are available for children at this location.
The community support services facility in Melbourne can provide referrals and assistance for needs such as housing, medical care, employment for parents, social relations, and community participation. A mobile unit is available for medication assisted treatment (MAT) if necessary.
