About Chico Rescue Mission
Chico Rescue Mission in Chico, California is a faith-based residential treatment provider dedicated to helping adult men overcome substance use through a 12-month addiction recovery program.
The facility offers a full continuum of care including long-term residential living, transitional housing, vocational training and aftercare support. Its mission emphasizes spiritual growth, scriptural study and restoring lives through faith, accountability, and community reconciliation.
Faith Based Addiction Treatment
Clients will follow the twelve-step model and engage in the Christian faith for deep, sustained recovery. You’ll participate in weekly Bible studies, prayer and church involvement to promote healing.
The facility has space for up to 90 residents at a time. Work phases include landscaping, auto center, and truck hauling to build skills and support mission operations. The duration and depth of the program allow for transformation that shorter-term programs may not provide.
Ongoing Support
Case management is available to help men reintegrate into society through structured support beyond the residential phase. The facility also encourages clients to seek relationships with family and the community.
Admission begins with an assessment through the Mission’s intake or outreach team, where staff review eligibility for the 12-month residential program and verify suitability for faith-based recovery.
