Levels of Care at Mills-Peninsula
Mills Health Center uses evidence-based therapies like cognitive (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, trauma‐informed counseling, relapse prevention and the 12 Steps. Treatment includes individual and family counseling alongside group therapy formats.
There's also a strong emphasis on building a recovery community to support long-term wellness.
Payment and First Steps
Mills Health Center accepts private health insurance, Medicare and TRICARE, covering many insurance options. Self-pay is available for those who choose that route.
The admissions process begins with an assessment to determine the appropriate level of care. Given that treatment is hospital-based, there's medical oversight from the start.
