About Bridges International – Orlando
Bridges International - Orlando in Orlando, Florida, is a Christian nonprofit organization. They offer reintegration services between incarceration and reentry into the community.
Transition Reentry Center
The community release and transition reentry center offers assistance for male and female inmates to get their lives back on track. Intensive substance abuse treatment is provided for women with 24 to 36 months left in their sentence. This takes place in a therapeutic community that is peer led and follows a multidisciplinary plan.
Men are eligible for services during the last 11 months of their sentence. They are supported in obtaining identification, obtaining employment, receiving substance use disorder counseling, and receiving job readiness classes. This satisfies requirements by FDC probation and DCF child custody issues.
Community Release Program
Inmates are eligible for the community release program after completion of the transition reentry program. In this program you will establish employment during the day and continue treatment in the evenings. This program requires you to pay for room and board, make court ordered payments, send monetary support to your family, and fund a savings account for use upon release.
Felony Women’s Alternative Treatment
Their residential substance abuse treatment program operates on therapeutic community concepts. Adult female felony drug offenders are sentenced by the court to participate in this program as an alternative to incarceration.
Trauma Treatment for Families
The family services program offers outpatient therapy and intensive services with trauma informed care. Traumas addressed include substance use disorders, mental health disorders, incarceration, homelessness, out of home placement, separation and divorce and military deployment and combat.
