All treatment begins with a confidential assessment. Birmingham VAMC Gadsden CBOC offers treatment for a wide variety of mental health concerns including PTSD, depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction issues. Individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy are provided. Individuals who have been sexually harmed in a military setting may receive specialized counseling services to help them with their trauma.
