About Belair Clinic
Belair Clinic in Bellingham, Washington, offers outpatient treatment for individuals with a substance use disorder, including drug and alcohol abuse.
Bellingham is a scenic, midsized coastal city approximately 90 miles north of Seattle and 50 miles south of Vancouver. It’s the last major city before the Canadian border and offers world class outdoor recreation and is home to Western Washington University.
Flexible Day and Evening Hours
The clinic features counseling services for adults within outpatient programming provided during the day and evening hours. The program’s designed to help clients recognize that alcoholism and drug addiction are a primary progressive disease rather than a character weakness, psychological dysfunction, or moral consequence. They believe that alcoholism and drug addiction are treatable conditions and you have the potential for lasting recovery.
Belair also has an Alcohol and Drug Information School and DUI assessments and evaluations that met court mandated requirements. The school is an 8-hour class held every Saturday that’s available to people with alcohol abuse issues or those not apparently dependent. They also offer an addiction specialist to diagnose various disorders, make treatment recommendations and prepare court approved documentation.
Individual, Group & Family Counseling
Treatment programs include intensive outpatient programs with group therapy three times per week or traditional outpatient programs with group therapy one time per week. Staffers also offered relapse prevention programs to help you learn preventive strategies and daily skills to promote sobriety and abstinence.
Individual counseling is available based on your recovery needs and family counseling is added to build trust and communication within the family unit.
