Monmouth Medical Center Early Intervention Support Services (EISS) is a mental health crisis intervention program in Neptune, New Jersey. They provide outpatient behavioral health treatment for adults facing serious mental illness.
The program serves individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, providing rapid access care designed to prevent psychiatric hospitalization. Clients benefit from a newly remodeled, welcoming environment and 24 hour crisis support with same day or next day access to therapists and prescribers.
What Services Does EISS Provide?
EISS offers outpatient mental health treatment including individual and group psychotherapy, medication management, crisis intervention and case management for up to 30 days. Services are available onsite at their Neptune location or in the community, including clients' homes. The program uses cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma therapy and wellness and recovery action planning.
Who Can Get Help at EISS?
The program serves Monmouth County adults 18 years and older with serious mental illness who are at risk of needing hospital based services. EISS also welcomes young adults, seniors, LGBTQ individuals, military families and people with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
What Insurance Or Payment Options Are Available?
EISS accepts Medicaid, Medicare, private health insurance, cash or self payment, state mental health funds and community mental health block grants. Payment assistance is available for those who qualify. Walk ins are welcome and self referrals and referrals by others are both accepted.
