BayCare has collaborated with Northwestern Medicine to become the region’s leading academic health care system. This has been achieved through research, university support, and groundbreaking treatments.

The center provides residential treatment for adults with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders. The center is open 24 hours per day seven days per week and accepts new admissions Monday through Thursday.
Social Rehabilitation Treatment
Substance use treatment, social rehabilitation and 12 Step meetings every week are part of the treatment process. Social rehabilitation prepares clients to reintegrate back into the community after treatment is complete. Clients establish relationships and begin to feel independent in settings of socialization.
Participation in a Therapeutic Community
Therapeutic communities promote change using the community itself. Through participation in the community, responsibilities shared by community members and support by community members for each other, behavioral and thought processes change.
Family Participation in Treatment
Our families are affected by our substance use either from our negative behaviors or from watching a loved one decline. Your family is welcome to participate in your recovery treatment through visits and family services that are offered.
Daily Group Therapy
Daily peer and counselor-led group sessions involve clients in active rehabilitation. Counselors provide educational groups led by a professional while peers provide a more discussion-based therapy with someone who has been successful in recovery.
